Meet Kathleen Katipunan, MD

Kathleen Katipunan, MD

Kathleen Katipunan, MD relocated from the Philippines to Canada and joined the SKiN Laser Clinic in 2010. An International Medical Graduate, Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy with an Academic Excellence Award. She is a licensed Philippine Physician.

Kathleen graduated from the College of Medicine and Surgery, with honours, from the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, Philippines. She was chief resident during her senior year of Dermatology and received specialty training at the Jose R Reyeas Memorial Medical Centre in the Philippines.

Kathleen's qualifications also include the position of International Fellow in Cutaneous and Laser Surgery, at the Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok Thailand, and board-certified Dermatologist of the Philippines Dermatological Society.

She is highly skilled in performing Botox injections, dermal facial fillers, laser, sclerotherapy and various cutaneous surgical procedures. Kathleen supports Dr. Gooderham's Centre for Dermatology practice by performing and assisting in a wide spectrum of dermatological procedures.

She is an outstanding resource to all. We are thrilled to welcome Kathleen, her husband and 2 children to Peterborough and the SKiN Laser Clinic / Centre for Dermatology family.
