Service Introduction
The SKiN Laser Clinic provides Peterborough and area residents with access to the latest treatments in cosmetic dermatology. No need to travel to the big city. Clients can take advantage of a broad range of treatment options right here in the Kawarthas. The main areas of service are described below.
Injectables / Fillers
Injectables refer to substances that are injected into the skin to help improve appearance. Botox® and Dysport®, Restylane®, Juvederm® and Radiesse® are the most common treatments. Botox® and Dysport® injections help minimize lines and wrinkles by neutralizing facial movements, like frowning, that can create skin folds. (NOTE: Botox is also used to stop excessive sweating, a condition called Hyperhidrosis.) Facial fillers such as Restylane®, Juvederm® and Radiesse® help restore facial volume. They assist with deep wrinkles and folds, hollows under the eyes and cheeks, thinning lips, and sagging along the jawline. Additionally, clients may also be interested in the Regen Plasma™, a regenerative technique that works by injecting your own fluids into the body, to reduce fine lines and crepey skin.

Skin Laser is our name and we are good at it. Our clinic offers BBL / IPL, Fraxel Restore, ProFractional XC Resurfacing, VariLite, Exilis and Micro Laser Peel. These treatments address a wide variety of issues for aging skin including wrinkles (upper lip lines and crow's feet), hyperpigmentation, sun damage, keratosis, scars, spider veins and skin laxity.
Fat reduction
Fat reduction, sometimes called body contouring, refers to techniques that smooth the body by reducing fat deposits and tightening loose skin. The SKiN Laser Clinic offers the latest non-invasive treatments of CoolSculpting® and Exilis®. CoolSculpting uses the power of cold to freeze fat and eliminate fat cells. Exilis leverages radio frequency to melt fat and tighten skin.
Skin Care
Skin care needs of various types can be met at the SKiN Laser clinic. The clinic offers treatments for Rosacea, as well as a range of services to provide a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance. Some of these include cosmetic peels and microdermabrasion. Additionally, clients have access to top skin care lines, including the latest system from Dr. Zein Obagi called ZO® Skin Health as well as the renowned eyelash enhancement treatment, LATISSE™.
